World Maths Day 2024

On Friday 22nd March, we celebrated World Maths Day in school.

Each class took part in fun, engaging and problem solving based Maths sessions which embraced our enjoyment of Maths.

Robins Class investigated one less and one more with Easter themed activities.

Owls Class investigated multiple ways of representing their favourite number.

Kingfishers Class investigated patterns and were finding solutions to a real life problem.

Chaffinches Class were applying their understanding of area and money to redesign their classroom.

Kestrels Class took part in a class challenge, creating mazes, finding patterns and applying their understanding to problem solving tasks.

A great day for all of the children, allowing them to display their enjoyment of Maths learning!
