Well-being
The well-being of the children is our main priority. In our school, we foster a caring and sharing environment and teaching children to be aware of and look after their mental health is part of our curriculum.
We have a Mental Health Champion within our school, who helps keep us informed on ways of how we can look after our mental health and well-being, and is available to speak to a child if they need a little extra support.
If we decide that further specialist support is needed, we can refer to the relevant service, with parental permission.
Five Ways to Well-being
On our return to school, the whole school participated in a Well-being Week where we learned about the 'Five Ways to Well-being' - tools to help us get the most out of life.
