Sporting Events

As well as Physical Education as part of the national curriculum, children can be invited to take part in sports events alongside other schools in our cluster and region.

Here are some of the events we have been to recently:

GEAR 2024!

On Sunday 5th May, 18 children along with staff members took part in the Mini Great East Anglia Run (GEAR) race.
A race that required the children to run 1.9km around the quayside of King’s Lynn.
All of the children completed the race in phenomenal times and were a real asset to Ashwicken CE Primary School.
All of the children received a wonderful medal, t-shirt and yummy treat as a reward!
It was a great experience for the children, great examples of teamwork and encouragement were shown.
